‘Under the Highway: Blackstone River Landscapes’

An opening reception was held June 27 for James Hunt’s exhibition “Under the Highway: Blackstone River Landscapes” at The Hanover Theatre for Performing Arts on Southbridge Street. The narrative series of photographs reflects the human and industrial impact on a three-mile stretch of the Blackstone River in Worcester and Millbury, which is now used as a bikeway. Free viewings are by appointment through Oct. 30. Contact ArtsWorcester at info@artsworcester.org or (508) 755-5142. [T& G STAFF PHOTOS/ALLAN JUNG]
